Peter has completed dual fellowships in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He spent time working in Ireland and New Zealand before coming to Sydney. He worked as senior registrar in St George and St Vincent’s hospitals, before gaining FCICM in 2015. His clinical interests include Trauma, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care and Extra-Corporeal Life Support. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Transthoracic Echocardiography (European Society of Cardiology), and enjoys teaching echo to ICU trainees. As well as regular teaching on echocardiography courses, he is an instructor for BASIC and ALS. His wife and young girls keep him busy, but he still manages to squeeze in the occasional surf. Most of all he loves spending time outdoors with his family.
