I am an emergency physician, working as the residency director in the OLVG hospital in Amsterdam. Located right in the city centre, our department is proud to be a host for almost 50.000 patients a year, most of which are on drugs. I have taken an interest in education since university and have been involved in several projects aimed at improving teaching in an emergency medicine setting. I was involved in the original MNSHA committee and have found myself applauding this initiative ever more strongly.
My current interests are Toxicology and the art of making complex workflows simple.
I live in Amsterdam with my wife and two children, am slightly optimistic in nature and a big fan of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.
