I am an Emergency Physician working in the busy and chaotic Emergency Department of the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania’s only tertiary Hospital. Originally from the UK I left in 2005 for a year long working holiday only to find myself pursuing a career in emergency medicine in New Zealand and then Australia. My current portfolio includes running a training programme for residents with an interest in critical care specialities. The weekly teaching programme is a mix of small group tutorials and simulation sessions.
In addition to my emergency work I am also a Hyperbaric and Diving Medicine Physician with an interest in complex wound care.
After meeting many Dutch Emergency Physicians at EuSEM 2014 I am very excited about joining the MNSHA programme.
