I am an Emergency physician working in Brighton in the UK in a Major Trauma Centre. I am the ultrasound lead for Kent Surrey and Sussex deanery. I work as a crowd doctor for Brighton and Hove Albion. I also am the medical director for an events company specialising in festival medicine.
I have an interest in many different areas of Emergency Medicine, including education, trauma, ultrasound, toxicology, critical appraisal and sports medicine. I hold diplomas in Toxicology and Sports and Exercise medicine. I teach for both the MCEM and FCEM examination. I have been involved in writing chapters in several MCEM and FCEM related books and am currently involved in writing a second book on critical appraisal with two of my colleagues. In addition, I teach both Level one and Level two ultrasound as well as running courses in difficult vascular access.
